It’s been a while since I’ve posted one of these. Though I am reaching the end of my stack. So fair warning to the readers who like/use these, this feature will be ending in the near future. I don’t have an exact timeframe yet, but I will warn you before I publish the last one.
A destitute woman receives a letter delivered by a crow. The letter is from an old friend — a magician. He repeats his promise to help her one day, but he has landed in trouble. What kind of trouble? How can the woman help him? If that will require a journey, how will the crow — the magician’s pet — assist her along the way? And when the two friends reunite, how does the magician intend to help our leading lady?
