What better way to re-launch the blog than bringing back one of its staple features? Monthly writing prompts. Here’s a new batch of five for the new year.

  1. “The devil made me chop up my neighbor’s rose bushes.”
  2. Write a story that takes place during a famine. This famine has lasted for years.
  3. A writer is faced with a moral crisis. Is he a journalist or a propagandist?
  4. How far will a mother go to protect her children from nightmares?
  5. What will a man do to protect the advantages he and his possess?
