It’s been snowy and bitterly cold where I live. The perfect weather for staying in and working on my writing projects. Here’s a new story idea you can steal and enjoy with your favorite seasonal drink.
Four people are bound together by a curse. The magic allows them to decide how to split the effects between them, but every person must take at least one. Write about how and why each person chooses the effects they’re now burdened with.
For bonus points, make the split unequal. What drove some characters to carry the brunt of the shared curse? How do the less-effected characters respond to their sacrifice?
